ok dude i appreciate that you want more users into the fediverse but people won't use it because you keep forcing mastodon to alot of bluesky users
i am not saying this because mastodon has terrible ui (for be it's ok) or it's too techy
i am saying this because you guys think that fediverse is the only GOOD social media out there and that there are no other alternatives
let me tell you a very dark secret
not every social media platform is perfect, not even fediverse
have you ever read how social media does a fuck ton of negative impact on your mental health? this could apply to any social media, no matter if that platform is on the fediverse or the atmosphere, it can still give you a very bad impact.
fedi users always complain that bluesky is addictive but they ignore that it's literally the same issue of their platform(s) too!

You know, the way you lost them when you moved from fucking Twitter to fucking Bluesky. With fucking Mastodon, you don’t have that problem.
one of the reasons why atproto was created is to provide proper account protability, which is something fedi can't offer
for an example, you have an account on triplet.social and it has a shut down notice, you decided to migrate to sneakersotoole.io by basically setting up a redirect to your new account (basically putting your old account in an archive and adding a link to your new account)
and when triplet.social shuts down, all your old posts will be gone and your audience won't be able to see them anymore
oh wait, you have managed to save the posts from your deleted triplet.social account? congrats! but, you won't be able to import them to your shiny new sneakersotoole.io account...
Mastodon currently does not support importing posts or media due to technical limitations, but your archive can be viewed by any software that understands how to parse Activity Streams 2.0 documents.

luckily, fedi developers managed to use the invention from the web inventor tim breners-lee and attach activitypub to it, thus creating activitypods, which nobody really uses... and that's just sad :(

actually, it's two: mastodon, like you said before, and basically just abandoning all kinds of social media, starting a blog and actually going outside like a normal human being
